VESSEL WALK-THROUGH:
COCKPIT & EXPANDED BRIDGE are all business! The flying bridge is designed around a low profile, centerline helm that provides superb 360 degree visibility for spotting tailing billfish, backing down on a fish or into a tight slip. HOBIE'S GIRL is tournament ready and features the largest cockpit in its class, and features every amenity a tournament champion needs to fill the outriggers with release flags. The 11' 6" long cockpit is fitted with durable non-slip, and anchors the biggest fighting chair with ease (should you wish to add one) thanks to the reinforced solid-mahogany laminated into the fiberglass sole. Built-in molded consoles provide more than adequate stowage for gear and tackle. A top loading freezer cabinet is located starboard. The extended bridge overhang shades the cockpit while providing safe and easy access to the helm. This baby is fishable with Triple Streader Riggers; two (2) large Fish Boxes; Sink and tackle center; bait prep station; freezer; in-step insulated drink cooler; four (4) rod holders and thick coaming pads for extra comfort when landing the big ones.

THE SALON makes good use of this vessel's 16' 11" beam, creating a living room atmosphere with an L-shaped lounge that converts to a sleeper and an L-shaped settee with stowage below. The dinette is a goregous piece of varnished teak. Rounded edges on the furniture are seakindly and have a beautiful gloss finish. There is a U-Line Freezer conveniently located to starboard as soon as you walk into the salon from the cockpit...smart idea!
BUILT FOR SPEED with her powerful freshwater-cooled, turbo-charged Series 60 DD/MTUs puts HOBIE'S GIRL on a plane at 1,200 RPM's, an indication of her slippery and efficient running surface. Her hydraulic steering provides excellent response!
BUILT TO ENDURE with her hand-laid construction which includes a solid keel, chines and bottom. Above the waterline, the hull is Divinycell-cored, while vinylester resins are used in the first two hull layers to prevent blistering and osmosis. Isophthalic gel coat gives her a deep gloss finish that will stand up to the tough marine environment.
GALLEY located to Port features a recessed cooktop that is not only convenient, but made doubly practical with a removable cover that hides the appliance when not in use for an uninterrupted flow of Corian. The full-side refrigerator/freezer comes with a built in ice cube maker. Indirect lighting casts a soft glow across the bookend matched joinery. Not only is the teak parquet flooring is stunning, but sturdy and long-lasting as well. The galley also features a Carousel Convection Microwave Oven, Two (2) Burner Princess Stove with Ceran Top, Sink with extra "hot on demand" spigot.
MASTER STATEROOM is located amidship where there is less noise and more comfort while underway. The queen-size berth is accessible from three sides and features ample stowage below. The hanging wardrope locker is lined with cedar and illuminating lighting upon opening.
MASTER HEAD is accessed through the owners stateroom and offers the privacy and comfort you would expect to find aboard a quality yacht, including a fully enclosed stall shower, oversized vanity, medicine cabinet with mirror, AC with reverse cycle heat and opening overhead hatch.
FORWARD STATEROOM adds the extra convenience for guests and children. Hull side cabinets and shelving, bullnose moldings and plush fabrics create in inviting atmosphere. There is private access to the head, and a washer and dryer aft of the starboard berth.
GUEST STATEROOM is located portside and features comfortable over and under bunks with generous drawer storage below and a large screened hatch overhead.
GUEST HEAD is located forward the Port Guest Stateroom, has a fiberglass stall shower and seat. Molded countertops and vinyl flooring that makes clean-up a breeze.
ENGINE ROOM is accessed through the cockpit and is another example of Post's astute engineering. Gel coated for easy care, the entire work area is brightly illuminated with dual-voltage lighting. All machinery installations were designed for trouble-free service and easy maintenance - whether replacing a fuel filter or changing oil in the engines or generator. The Westerbeke 15kw Generator is currently at 460 hours and located in a sound box for extra sound dampening. Also featured is a REVERSO Oil Changing System and C-Charger 5000 Series unit.
IN ADDITION are Three A/C Units all with reverse cycle heat; Sat TV; Viking Six (6) Man inflatable life-raft on bow; and thousands of dollars worth of high quality fishing equipment (rods, reels, etc.) that are included if HOBIE'S GIRL is purchased at the current listing price.
